Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are remakes of the franchise's fourth generation games, released for Nintendo DS in 2007. As with the original Diamond and Pearl, each version has its own exclusive monsters that can only be obtained by trading with a person who has the another game. In the following lines, I tell you which are the exclusive Pokémon of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
- 8 Pokemon Games Available for Nintendo Switch
- 10 must-have Nintendo Switch games

Each version has 37 unique Pokémon, including common little monsters from the first four generations to legendary and mythical creatures such as the Dialga and Palkia themselves that stamp the game's art. To complete the Sinnoh region Pokédex, you must have someone who transfers creatures from the opposite version of yours to you.
Can you trade Pokemon with other Switch games?
Do not. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl cannot send or receive monsters from other games in the Switch series, such as Pokémon Sword and Shield or Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. Additionally, it will only be possible to connect the fourth generation remakes to Pokémon Home sometime in 2022.
