The requirements to level up from level 41 to 50 in Pokémon GO

Evolving your character's level is one of the goals of every game player. Pokémon GO, as each "level" allows you to use more items and capture more powerful pokemons. Since the game's release in 2016, the maximum level was 40. With the GO Beyond update, Niantic has implemented some system changes, adding 10 new levels. What's New in the Level System

The GO Beyond update, released in November 2020, implemented some changes to Pokémon GO's level system. Chief among them was the addition of 10 more levels for the most dedicated trainers to reach.

Another change was in the way of conquering each level starting at 40. Now, in addition to reaching the required amount of experience points, trainers must complete a short list of tasks in order to progress to the next level.

Level 50 requires dedication, skill, and patience.

The closer to Pokémon GO level 50, the greater the amount of EP needed and the more difficult the missions. However, points accumulated in one level will be added to the next after you complete challenges and reach the next level.

Starting at level 40, powering up your Pokemon will also require a new type of candy. Candy GG increases your creature's combat points (CP) just like regular candies, and they are obtained by capturing or converting regular candies into GG candies.

Pokemon GO Level 50 requirements

For those who like challenges, level 50 requires many hours of dedication, skill and patience, as you will need to make almost 1000 excellent plays and reach level 10 of the GO Battle League, among other requirements.

Experience Points: 30 million

Challenges:

• Make 999 excellent moves;
• Catch at least one legendary pokemon in your next 5 legendary pokemon encounters;
• Defeat a Team GO Rocket Leader 3 times using only Pokemon with a maximum of 2500 CP;
• Reach level 10 in the GO Battle League.

Rewards:

• 50 Ultra Balls;
• 50 Max Potions;
• 1 MT elite charged attack;
• 2 Twelve Rare GGs;
• 5 Incenses;
• 5 Lucky Eggs;
• 5 Super Incubators;
• 5 Attract Modules;

The requirements and rewards for levels 41 through 49 are listed in the table below. In-game, you can check the quest progress of your current level by clicking on your character's avatar, then on the binoculars icon next to the experience bar.

Levels 43, 45, 48 and 50 unlock special research called Level Challenges. They are divided into 4 stages with 3 tasks each, yielding prizes such as GG Candy, Stardust, Incubators, Team GO Rocket Radars and rare Pokemon encounters. Good game!
