Switch gets free app with dubbed Pokémon episodes

Now everyone can watch Pokémon No. Nintendo Switch, and the best: without paying anything. The Pokémon TV app was launched for the console and allows you to watch several seasons of the cartoon, including episodes dubbed in Portuguese. The download is now available on the eShop and is very quick to download.

It's not just seasons of the original cartoon that are out there. Fans can check out broadcasts of official tournaments, specials and movies, as well as an area reserved especially for very young children, with differentiated content.

One of the highlights is Pokémon Journeys, the most current season of the series, which is also available on Netflix – with the difference that you have to pay to watch it there, while on Switch, just download and enjoy.

What seasons are on Pokémon TV?

Currently fans can find the following years of the drawings there:

• Indigo League – Season 1
• Orange League – Season 2
• Diamond and Pearl – Seasons 10 to 13
• Sun and Moon – Seasons 20 to 22
• Pokémon Journeys – Season 23

There are no plans to have more episodes available at this time. In the US, the catalog is different, as it varies by region.

Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch has very few content streaming apps – several of the most famous are absent. Console owners rely on YouTube and Funimation, basically, and now Pokémon TV.

Services like Netflix, Crunchyroll, HBO Max or Amazon Prime Video were not released on the console and apparently there is no plan in this regard on the part of the responsible companies or will of Nintendo. After all, the Switch has been on the market for years and it is quite common for applications of this type to be launched without much delay.
