Pokémon Go has a free Remote Raid Pass every week

After the announcement that some bonuses (from the period of social isolation) would be changed in Pokémon Go, Niantic returned to the players' heads: every week a Remote Raid Pass will be offered in the store, for free.

Offer runs from October 5th to November 30th. Each pass can be redeemed every Monday and the item will remain in the store for a week for the player to add to their inventory.

However, there is a catch: it will not be possible to accumulate the items, the redemption of Remote Raid Passes can only be done if the player has less than three stored in the bag. So it's take it and leave it, I mean use it.

Remote Raid Passes allow you to access gyms with raids in progress, as long as they are visible on the player's map. The item was one of the novelties that made it possible to continue exploring Pokémon Go, even during the period of social isolation, to avoid the contagion of the new coronavirus.

Each pass is sold in the in-game store for 100 PokéCoins, equivalent to R$1,90 when purchased via the App Store. With the offer, there will be nine Remote Raid Passes, a savings of BRL 17,10 if you had to buy them.

Bonuses removed from Pokémon Go

It is worth remembering that, as of October 1, Niantic has reversed some of the bonuses that helped players keep Pokémon Go activity, even indoors:

• Eggs again require the full distance to hatch (previously half of the required);
• Incenses require the player to be walking to be effective (before, even standing still, it often attracted Pokémon);
• The Companion Pokémon will only bring gifts once a day and only when the stock is close to zero;
• Pokestops still have a high chance of giving a Gift, but it's no longer guaranteed every spin.
