The new game, which will be coming to Switch “soon”, will have hundreds of Pokémon and new nature locations to explore them. Meanwhile, the N64 version only featured the original 151 little monsters.

“Travel to uncharted islands with beautiful landscapes such as lush forests and sandy beaches,” says Nintendo to describe New Pokémon Snap. “The photos of Pokémon you take will be used to create your own Photodex!”

You'll be able to photograph wild Pokémon in their natural habitats, and capture never-before-seen behaviors as you explore uncharted islands. The better the photo, the more points you get.
