Pokémon Unite appears with Battle Pass in leaked videos

Pokémon Unite has started testing on Android phones in Canada, and users have leaked gameplay videos and screenshots of the game. On Twitter, the @CentroLeaks account shared a photo of a battle pass with skins for trainers and Pokémon, as well as other rewards. The recordings already showed the gameplay of some little monsters, but they were removed from YouTube.

The battle pass system guarantees rewards whenever players level up. Just like in Fortnite, the Pokémon Unite pass will be available to all players. However, some rewards will be locked and can only be unlocked by paying for the enhanced version of the battle pass with real money.

There are no details yet on what items will be in the pass, but you can see from the leaked image that the reward at level 50 is a skin for Alolan Ninetales. In addition, previous levels grant trainers clothing and wearable items.

Skins were already expected in Pokémon Unite

In January, beta testers in China leaked photos of Pokémon Unite's customization system, with skins being sold in the in-game store. This indicates that it should be possible to buy the skins with the game's virtual currency and unlock different outfits through the battle pass.

The gameplay videos showed some Pokémon in action, but they were deleted from YouTube shortly after being posted. One of the recordings was of Cinderace, in which the Pokémon's abilities appeared. It is worth mentioning that beta test participants are instructed not to capture or livestream the game.

Pokémon Unite is in development, and has no confirmed release date. The game will be free on Nintendo Switch and Android and iOS phones.
