Pokémon Unite arrives in July with exclusive Pokémon at launch

Pokemon Unite won a date to arrive on Nintendo Switch: July 21, also known as “next week”. Anyone who downloads and logs into the game before August 31st will also have an extra incentive – a free Zeraora for their Pokémon roster. The release date for the mobile version has not yet been set, but it will be in September.

Producer The Pokémon Company promises that Zeraora will also be released for mobile players and said it will release details soon. Most likely, the creature download for this edition will be extended until the end of October.

Zeraora is an Electric-type Mythical Pokémon that attacks with fast, devastating blows. Within the game he promises to be one of the most aggressive monsters, although they are all balanced somehow.

Pokémon Unite no Switch

The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be similar to the mobile version. We had a test a few days ago, which happened only in Japan, and it showed a little bit of what to expect from Pokémon Unite. For those who are still lost, it is worth remembering that this is a multiplayer game in the "Moba" style, similar to Dota 2 and League of Legends.

The player chooses and controls only one Pokémon, which must defeat other opposing or computer-controlled Pokémon that are on the map, while gathering points to win. Each time a creature is defeated, it is captured in the Poké Ball and must be thrown into one of your team's hoops, scattered around the map.

Most importantly, of course, Pokémon Unite is a free game, with optional microtransactions.
