Trades in Pokemon Go

For trades to take place in Pokémon Go, two people, level 10 or higher, must be friends in the game and be close (it won't work if each one is in their house).

Is there a limit to exchange?

It depends.

Special trades — those for legendary Pokémon, shinies, or species that you haven't registered in the Pokédex yet — can be made once per day.

Mythical Pokémon such as Mew and others that have been previously traded cannot participate in trades.

When trading with a friend, there are chances that the received Pokémon will be turned into a Lucky Pokémon. The advantage is that it consumes less Stardust when empowered.

The chances of getting a Lucky Pokémon are higher the longer you spend with the Pokémon. The longer his capture time, the greater the chance.

A Lucky Pokémon can also come from a Lucky Friendship, which is obtained when you complete hearts on the Friends page, playing together for 90 days. Upon obtaining the title of "Unparalleled Friendship" the next Pokémon to be traded has a 100% chance of becoming Lucky.
