What is Mega Evolution and which Pokémon have it?

Mega Evolution is what the name suggests: another evolution. Occurs in the final stage of some Pokémon like Charizard or Blastoise, for example. With this transformation, the Pokémon receives better attributes in its status (such as special attack or speed) and can belong to another typing: the Mega Evolved Gyarados, for example, becomes a Water/Night type instead of Water/Flying.

For now, in Pokémon Go, you can only Mega Evolve Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, and Beedrill. There is a new Megapokédex to keep track of those that have already been turned by the player.

How to Mega Evolve in Pokemon Go?

Therefore, you should take advantage of this time window (remembering that the species that has already been Mega Evolved once, will cost less Megaenergy in the following transformations).

What changes with Mega Evolution?

Mega Evolution makes the Pokémon stronger, as well as, in some cases, adding a new type to the Pokémon. In raid battles, for example, all other Pokémon from other trainers will also receive an attack bonus. Pokémon with attacks of the same type as Mega Evolved will have an additional attack.

How to take advantage of Megaevolution?

Because it's a temporary transformation, it's important to enjoy every second of this new way. The tip is to battle in gyms, raids and with friends. However, Battle League Go clashes cannot use Mega Voluted Pokémon.
