Call of Duty: Mobile will have Shipment and Shoot House maps in Season 2

Call of Duty: Mobile will receive Season 2 on March 10th, with new arenas, weapons and game modes. Activision revealed, this Friday (5), that the maps Shipment 2019 and Shoot House will arrive in the game in the update. Both locations debuted in the CoD: Modern Warfare games and were adapted for the mobile version.

The Shipment map first appeared in the franchise in 2007, in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. In 2019, the arena was recreated in CoD: Modern Warfare. The latest version of the location will be used in CoD: Mobile, with some changes to host the clashes on the smaller screens of mobile phones.

Located in a port, Shipment is the smallest map in the entire Call of Duty franchise. Because it's a compact arena with lots of empty cargo containers to hide in, it's ideal to use close-range weapons such as shotguns. The limited space also leaves players vulnerable to "spawn kill", which is to eliminate an opponent as soon as he respawns.

Another map arriving with Season 2 is Shoot House. The arena is a military training building located in a desert. As in Shipment, the map is compact and encourages constant confrontations with close-range weapons. In the center of the map, however, there is a street without much cover that can facilitate sniper shots.

Other news from CoD Season 2: Mobile

In addition to the Shipment 2019 and Shoot House maps, CoD: Mobile Season 2 should bring one more Battle Royale mode, called Tank Battle. The update will also have a new character class, the Spotter, capable of dropping aerial bombs on the map and detecting enemy aircraft.

The classic Battle Royale mode will receive the cargo truck as a vehicle. Weapons arriving in Season 2 have yet to be revealed.
