Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War announced for consoles and PC

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is the new game in Activision's FPS series, produced by Treyarch. The game arrives on November 13, for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with versions planned, at a later date, also on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The game's story will take place during the Cold War between the US and Russia, as the name suggests. The protagonist must be Frank Woods, who was present in other games of the saga and must have a central role in this plot.

The campaign will feature settings such as Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, KGB barracks and more. Zombies mode is also planned for multiplayer.

Like all Call of Duty, this one will also have a huge focus on multiplayer, but the producer said it will only reveal details of the online mode in another presentation, to be held on September 9, without further information. An open beta, however, is already planned, with no date yet.

One of the main information about the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, however, is in its three main versions: Standard, Multi-Generation and Definitive.

Contrary to the direction that other companies were taking, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will not have a free update for the next generation of consoles, then comes the Multi-Generation version, which will be more expensive.

The editions and expected values ​​are as follows:

• Standard Edition – $60 (Compatible with PS280, PC and Xbox One / PS4 and Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility but no graphical enhancements)
• Multi-Generation Edition – US$70 / R$320 (Compatible with PS4, PC and Xbox One / PS5 and Xbox Series X with graphical enhancements)
• Definitive Edition – US$80 / R$400 (Compatible with PS4, PC and Xbox One / PS5 and Xbox Series X with additional graphics and digital bonuses)

Depending on the store or purchase date chosen, some versions may be discounted from the base price.

Additionally, Definitive Edition digital bonuses include 3 Operator Skins, 3 Vehicle Skins, 3 Weapon Blueprints, and Battle Pass Pack.

All editions have early access bonuses to the beta first on PS4 and Operator Frank Woods to use in Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Modern Warfare for those who pre-purchase.
