Smite is a very simple enchantment that players can use on a variety of weapons. Basically, this enchantment increases the damage dealt to undead mbs.

This is a damage buff that is only effective against undead mobs like zombies, skeletons, wither skeletons and wither. This enchantment has 5 levels, with Smite V being the strongest. With each level up, the damage increases by 2,5.
What does Smite do in Minecraft?
Smite greatly increases damage against the undead. If a Netherite Sword with a base damage of 8 is taken into account, then Smite V increases the total damage against undead mobs to almost 20,5 health damage!

As the undead are common, the damage will come in handy in many cases. Players can enchant the following weapons with Smite:
- Sword (all variants)
- Ax (all variants)
However, players need to be aware that Sharpen, Smite, Cleaving, and Bane of Arthropods are unique and two cannot be applied to the same weapon.
Players need to make an Enchantment Table and Lapis Lazulli to apply the effect to the weapon. Players also need bookshelves as they increase the chance of enchanting levels.
