Minecraft Tropical Fish
These are passive mobs commonly found in ocean biomes and are special in their markings and uniqueness.

Tropical fish have nearly 2.700 natural variants with different colors, patterns and markings.
Spawn
They spawn in warm ocean biomes or warm ocean biomes in groups of 8-24 fish. They can have some predefined patterns or they can also generate random patterns.
Behavior
Minecraft tropical fish are passive mobs and do not attack players or any other mobs. When attacked, they will simply try to swim away.
Players can also collect them using a bucket to make a bucket of tropical fish. This bucket can also be poured into water fountains to make an aquarium!
They cannot survive out of water and will eventually die of suffocation. Tropical fish are also weak to the impalement spell.
Varieties of fish
In the Java edition, naturally spawned fish appear 90% in 22 of the preset varieties. The other 10% are generated completely randomly and have different markings, patterns and colors.
In the Bedrock edition, tropical fish have no common varieties and have 22 preset and remaining shuffles. When placing them in a bucket, the name of the bucket changes to the name of the fish in it.

Drops
When killed by the Minecraft Tropical Fish player it has a chance to drop the following:
- 1 tropical fish
- 1 bone meal
- 1-2 bones
- 1-3 EXP orbs
