Redstone Power was the introduction of electricity or a similar power generating block that could power other blocks that functioned as a mechanical component. Blocks require redstone power to function and without it, they are kind of useless.

Players need the following items to make a Dispenser in Minecraft:
- Cobblestone x7
- Bow x1
- Redstone Dust x1

Dispensers can be used for the following:
- Distributors are components of redstone and are activated upon initial activation of the redstone circuit. They will drop an item on them during this and in order to continuously shoot the items players need to make a mechanical circuit.
- The Dispenser also has 9 storage slots so players can store items in it.
- A dispenser can be powered by redstone torches, daylight sensors, redstone repeaters and comparators.
- It can be used as a trap as it can shoot Arrows; arrows when activating and injuring players.
- Dispensers also act differently while ejecting different items. Elytra will be equipped, bonemeal can fertilize the blocks it is thrown at, Splash potions will break and give the effects and fireworks will go off and explode in the sky.
Players can make a variety of new mechanics using Minecraft Dispensers and these are just a few of them.
