For solo travel, players have a variety of mounts such as Horses, Pilgrims and Pigs. However, in order to transport items and other materials, players need to carry a chest. This is where Minecarts come in handy for longer dialogue.
Here's how to make motorized rail in Minecraft from scratch.
Motorized rail in Minecraft
Motorized rail is a variety of rails that can increase the speed of Minecarts and can be used for super fast travel.

These can be found naturally spawned in Mineshafts and can be broken with your hands or any tool. They can be found in chests or on the mine floor.
Players can place Powered Rails on the ground and activate them using a Redstone Component. The Redstone torch will activate the motorized rails and increase the cart's speed when moving over it. However, an idle motorized track can slow the cart.
Players can also place normal rails adjacent to Electric Rails to make the railroad more economical. A Minecart with a Chest can be placed in it to transport items!
How to make motorized tracks in Minecraft?
Players need the following items to make a set of 6 Electric Rails in Minecraft:
- Gold Ingot x6
- Stick x1
- Redstone Dust x1
Gold ingots can be made by first extracting gold ore underground and then smelting it in a furnace. Redstone Dust can be found in a similar way and Sticks can be obtained from trees.
Combine all items on the Crafting Table to make a set of 6 Powered Rails in Minecraft.
