Pigs have come a long way since Minecraft was first released. It's been a decade since Minecraft made its debut, and there were only seven original mobs in the game. One of those classic mobs was the pig, which still exists.

5) Gross piglin
Piglin brutes are arguably some of the most annoying mobs in `Minecraft. These pig variants can make exploring the remains of bastion simply unbearable.
Crude piggies are the stronger and angrier versions of piggies. No matter what, they are always hostile to players. What's worse, the brute piggies are very difficult to fight and can do serious damage to those who dare to enter a bastion.
As brute pigs exist as a detriment to Minecraft players, they are in last place among all pig mobs.
4) Little zombie pig
Zombie piglins are one of the most plentiful neutral mobs in Minecraft. These mobs roam the countryside in excessive numbers and usually mind their own business – as long as a player does the same.
When unconcerned, zombified piglins will essentially ignore players. When hit, however, chaos can ensue, as every zombie pig in the vicinity will ambush the player who started the fight.
The zombified piglins don't have much to offer, so players are better off not interacting to avoid any problems.
3) Hoglin
Hoglins are found in the crimson forest biomes of the nether. They are less human-like than their other lesser counterparts, the piglins.
These mobs are big and strong. Hoglins can throw Minecraft players during an attack and even reach them from greater distances than normal mobs. This makes hoglins difficult to fight at times.
However, hoglins act as the main and most reliable source of food on the inside. Controlling hunger can be frustrating in the lower dimension as food choices are entered. Hoglins are the easiest solution to starvation while trapped in the nether realm, because they drop pork chops just like the pigs of the overworld. This makes them incredibly valuable and useful.

Piglins can be found roaming underground waste biomes or guarding a bastion remnant. These mobs are considered neutral. While they tend to attack nearby players, a pigin's wrath can easily be avoided by using some form of golden armor to blend in with the mobs.
These mobs are also great for trading. Piglins give players a variety of random items in exchange for gold ingots. This is a strategy many speedrunners adopt, as piglins sometimes provide ender pearls during their trades, which are essential to winning the game.
Overall, piglins are dynamic piglins. However, players beware: mining gold around a piggy will aggravate the mob, regardless of whether the player is using gold or not.

First on this list is classic, regular pork. Interestingly, the original pig is the only Minecraft pig mob found in the overworld rather than the countryside.
The pig has clearly remained a staple in Minecraft for good reason. First of all, pigs are great food sources, as cooked chops help keep players fuller for longer than some other foods. Also, pigs can be raised easily with a sufficient supply of beets, carrots or potatoes.
Another amazing aspect about pigs in Minecraft is the fact that players can even ride these mobs. This can be done using a saddle and a carrot on a fishing pole to guide the way.
