The Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Update Part I was a big hit among the Minecraft community. Its release marked a number of new updates to come, including the Minecraft 1.18 update and The Wild update!
The game remained stagnant for a while, but the developers came back in full force to introduce new features and additions to the game. The Caves and Cliffs update introduced three new mobs to the game namely Axolotls, Goat and Glow Squids.
Also, in Minecraft Live 2021 it was announced that next year it will introduce a completely new update called the Wild Update, which features many new mobs, biome tweaks and the long-awaited Deep Dark.
Minecraft Update 1.18: When Will It Arrive?
The Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Update Part II is also called the Minecraft 1.18 update and it should be released soon.

Many of the features that were not released in the previous update are all set to release in the Part II update. Minecraft Update 1.18 is ready to release sometime during late November or early December 2021.
This release date has not yet been specified with the exact date and time, but the release will definitely come within this time frame.
This update introduces many of the un-implemented features such as the Lush Caves biome, the Dripstone Cave biome and also the introduction of a greater height of the world. Along with the biomes comes a lot of flora such as Spore flowers and drip leaves.
However, the much-anticipated Deep Dark biome has been pushed into the Wild Update next year. The Deep Dark will feature the Ancient Cities and also the Warden mob in the game. The Wild Update also aims to renew Overworld's forests and swamps!
