The new GTA 5 DLC has already become a definitive update in the history of GTA 5 DLCs, just one day after its release. It revolves around the entire car culture that exists in GTA 5 Online and caters to one of the largest player communities in GTA 5. In addition to the big changes, Rockstar has also added lower quality of life and community requested updates in this DLC.

Rockstar adds long-requested drift tires to GTA 5 in new DLC:
The Los Santos Tuners DLC dropped on July 20th and fans were quick to find all the new features. In addition to the well-known patches listed in the patch notes, Rockstar has also added minor quality-of-life updates such as a bookmark of favorite radio stations and a take-all button in the menu through which players can purchase snacks.
Car communities in GTA 5 have long been asking for new updates for cars in the game. The last update for cars was in 2015 when Rockstar introduced the lowriders update. One of the most requested patches is the changes to the drift mechanics in GTA 5 to allow for a better drifting experience in the game. Almost no car in GTA 5 achieves perfect deflections like other similar games involving cars. The only exception to this is the Bravado Banshee 900R (custom version of Benny), which can drift better than other cars in the game.
The Los Santos Tuner update, to the excitement of fans, introduced drift tires to the game. These are called low grip tires. They can be found in the tire section of any mod shop, garage, Benny's or in the live workshop at LS Car Meet. They largely reduce the traction of vehicle tires. They can, however, only be equipped on the new vehicles added in the Los Santos Tuners update. This is a welcome update to GTA 5 that gives players what they want and these small but interesting patches are only better for GTA 5 life.
