The new GTA 5 DLC is just around the corner, with fans all around eagerly waiting for the underground racing update for GTA 5. The new DLC revolves around the new car culture in GTA 5 and is titled Los Santos Tuners. It will feature new cars, challenges and vehicles revealed by Rockstar Games themselves, but the most important part of the update seems to be the LS Car Meet. Rockstar introduces famous Car Meet content creators ahead of new GTA 5 DLC:
DLC releases are one of the hottest events in GTA 5. They introduce new properties, social spaces, and even, at times, map extensions. The LS Tuners update is set to go live in a few hours from now. The update promises to bring new cars and races and even a new social space called LS Car Meet where players can bring their unarmed vehicles and races, challenges and car races without worrying about a griefer or hostile player.
The GTA 5 Online player base is made up of multiple communities, each with their own interests and identities. The most popular community, however, is the automobile community. This community has existed within the game since launch and is also one of the biggest. The new DLC seems to revolve around and focus on the identity of this community. This community is represented by various teams and content creators on various platforms like Youtube, Twitch and GTA 5 itself. These teams and content creators are often known and considered for their work around GTA 5 such as hosting car competitions, servers and roleplays.
Yesterday, Rockstar Games released a blog post featuring some very popular content creators and car dating crews. Popular car teams like GangStance, Meets after Dark and flushfamily were featured in this blog post. Other new teams like the VIP Social Club aesthetic and Mobworks also received mentions in the blog post. Links to their social media feeds and social club accounts have also been provided for further community recognition.
This news is welcome to the GTA 5 community. Rockstar has hardly recognized the GTA 5 content creators and teams, which are one of the main causes of GTA 5's popularity. This means that more content creators and teams could be featured. in the future, paving the way for the GTA series to become bigger than it already is.
