Redditor builds and pilots Minecraft boat in real life

A Minecraft Redditor by the name of u/FuzeIII recently did the unthinkable… They decided to build the Minecraft boat out of blocks in real life and test it out in the waters. Somehow this boat is actually able to float and the player tries to swim with other boaters in the process.

Nothing like this has ever been seen before on Minecraft Reddit, and the original poster (OP) is an absolute legend for having achieved this. As seen in the post above, many people can be seen recording the OP and admiring his ingenuity.

Redditor builds and drives a real-life Minecraft boat

The Post

It almost defies the laws of physics (

The post starts with a glorious close-up of the OP trying to steer the Minecraft boat with a paddle. He seems to be struggling here as the paddle is too small.

Lots of boaters and spotters can be seen nearby, probably happy to have something interesting to watch for the first time. After a quick video cut, the OP can be seen using both oars, similar to how a Minecraft player would use the boat. This view is quite comical as it is obvious that the OP is struggling to maneuver the waters on this boat.

As he swims back to shore, the OP has some funny interactions with some boaters, and some can even be seen recording him. It's safe to say this post will go down in Reddit history.

Reactions

Due to the absolutely insane and humorous nature of this post, it inevitably received a monstrous 85.000 upvotes in just one day. Many Redditors have a lot to say about this unique post.

The slowest race ever... (

Two Redditors joke about the possibility of multiple people competing on these boats. Judging by how quickly the OP was moving through the water, it's safe to say it wouldn't be a pleasant race to watch.

This guy is smart (

For those who don't know the joke, Minecraft boats travel extremely fast over ice. This Redditor jokingly tells the OP to try out his awesome ice boat to see how it fares.

The boat probably won't move, but the OP seems interested in giving it a try.

Some interesting facts in this thread (

Another Redditor jokes about the slowness of the OP movement in the water and also provides some facts for the comments section.

Apparently, Minecraft's Steve can carry 63.936 cubic meters of gold in his pocket, which explains why the boat in Minecraft travels so fast. Another redditor explains how that amount of gold equals the weight of five Eiffel Towers.

Great graphics! (

Many gamers will jokingly say that the graphics in real life are amazing, comparing them to a video game. One Redditor took the joke to the next level, comparing real life to a Minecraft texture pack.

However, this Redditor is incorrect as the OP is obviously using shaders...
