Lodestone is a newly introduced block in the game and can be used to change the compass direction to point to this block.

This block can be used in all dimensions of the game, i.e. the Overworld, the Nether and the End. This can therefore be useful when establishing a base in these dimensions so that players can safely return towards it.
Lodestones can be obtained naturally from chests in the Remnant Bastion.
How to make a Lodestone in Minecraft?
Players need the following items to successfully craft a Lodestone in Minecraft:
- Chiseled stone bricks x8
- Netherite Ingot x1
Chiseled stone bricks can be made by first converting the Cobblestone to stone using a furnace. Place it in the furnace one more time to make a smooth stone. After that, players need to use the Crafting Table or stone cutter to project the stone into chiseled stone blocks.

Place items on the Crafting Table as shown above to make a Lodestone in Minecraft.
Uses for Lodestone
Using a compass on Lodestone will make the Compass point to Lodestone. Players can find their direction back to Lodestone using the compass. Therefore, it is a useful tool for players not to get lost.
This is especially useful in the Final dimension and the Nether, where players have a high chance of getting lost.
