Minecraft has a variety of mobs that are found in all dimensions throughout the game. Here, we take a look at Minecraft Cave Spider and all its features.

These are hostile mobs and are called monsters, which appear in the dark and try to kill players.
Here's one of those insectoid mobs called Minecraft Cave Spider and we'll take a look at all of its features and how to beat it.
Minecraft Cave Spider
The Cave Spider is a variant of the normal spider mob that holds venoms in its fangs and lives in mines. These are the only spider variants that are poisonous to natural generation.

Spawns and location
They spawn only from spawners in Mineshafts at a light level lower than 7. At the spawner's location, the hallway is surrounded by spider webs and players need to break them to reach the spiders.
Behavior and ataques
- They are neutral in daylight or if illuminated by light level 9 or higher. They will not voluntarily attack the player during this state.
- When night, or light level is less than 9, they are hostile and attack the player.
- They also chase the player along walls or can even climb tall structures.
- They attack by jumping on the player and inflicting poison on them. On Hard mode, this lasts for 15 seconds and deals 10 health damage. However, it cannot kill the player as it stops when the player's health reaches 1 health point.
- They are smaller than spiders and can go through one-block blocks.
- Minecraft cave spiders are unaffected by poison and sticky cobwebs.
- Players can easily kill them with the Bane of Arthropods Spell on their weapon.
Drops
When dying, cave spiders in Minecraft drop:
- 0-2 Strings
- 5 EXP Orbs
- Spider Eye
