They can be found naturally spawning in Stronghold. Ruined forest mansions, villages and portals. They can be mined with an Iron Pickaxe or higher to obtain it.
They are used to act as a barrier between the player and monsters and they cannot injure or enter this location. Can also deny eye-to-eye contact with Endermen. Also, the Ender Dragon cannot destroy Iron Bars either!
Another lesser-known fact about them is that they significantly enhance a zombie villager's healing process.

Players need the following items to make iron bars in Minecraft:
- Iron Ingots x6
Iron Ingots can be made by smelting Iron ores mined underground in a Furnace or Blast Furnace. They then need to be placed inside a Crafting Table in the manner shown above to make Iron Bars.
6 Iron Ingots provide players with 16 Iron Bars in total.
