5 GTA San Andreas missions that were clumsily designed

GTA San Andreas was a benchmark in the GTA franchise and raised the bar many times compared to Vice City. The game, packed with a memorable cast of characters, gangs, protagonists and missions, can be considered one of the best in the series.

While the game is exceptional in every way, some missions can make any player give up in rage in a heartbeat and leave him alone for a few days before trying again.

While they may eventually complete these quests, the frustration and anger players feel while doing these obvious quests is beyond exaggeration.

1) Learning to fly

Flying in any game should be fun, right? Well, learning to fly in GTA San Andreas was not pleasant for many players.

After purchasing the Verdant Meadows Airfield, CJ is tasked with learning to fly a plane. However, when players are done with this mission, flying a plane is the last thing they'll want to do in a long time.

Aside from the frustrating series of stunts players are expected to perform, the shoddy controls made everything more difficult, and hitting hillsides is the norm. Suffice it to say that those who complete this quest on the first attempt are extremely lucky.

2) Free fall

Much like learning to fly, “Freefall” is another terribly designed mission in the game. Players are given a slow plane in which they have to chase a private jet and board it, while trying to hide.

Getting into position to board the jet is just the beginning of misfortunes. Once on board, users have to shoot down enemies and finally control the plane and land it without crashing.

3) Supply lines

Much like the “Demotion Man” mission from GTA Vice City, players once again have to take control of an RC vehicle to complete this mission. The only contrast is that instead of a helicopter this time they have to control a plane, which is easier than doing it.

GTA San Andreas. The supply line mission with that damn remote-controlled toy plane. Horrible mission project. ?

While there is only one distinct way to complete the quest, players can fail in a number of ways. From running out of fuel to overtaking moving targets and turning to restart, it's safe to say this mission is challenging and requires careful planning and execution.

4) End of line

The final mission in GTA San Andreas was aptly named, not only because it is the last mission in the game, but also because many players give up when their patience runs out.

From breaking into a building full of Big Smoke's entourage to chasing a fire truck to taking out Officer Tenpenny, the mission is one big wild goose chase. While it's fun and enjoyable, it can take up to 30 minutes.

But in all fairness, while the mission is oddly designed, it's a fitting ending for GTA San Andreas.

5) Goodbye, my love

Driving in GTA San Andreas is really fun for a lot of reasons, and running around the map is always fun, except for a certain mission in the game.

Goodbye, My Love is one of those quests that seems easy but turns out to be super challenging and frustrating to complete. From having to drive off-road to dodging random vehicles and hitting checkpoints, this mission has it all.

While not the most inept mission in GTA San Andreas, it can be quite difficult to complete on the first try.
