Turns out the Crescent Shroom pickaxe is your last gift for Fortnite Winterfest. The final lost gift, which appeared to be some sort of mistake in Cozy Lodge's gift count, turned out to be... actually a mistake, it seems. But anyway, Epic is making up for the false hope by giving us a real reward, a new pickaxe that will only be available for free to a certain portion of Fortnite players (others can still buy it). When was the last time Santa gave you a deadly weapon?

Crescent Shroom Pickaxe: How to get it
As an apology for the downtime players experienced during Fortnite Winterfest, Epic is delivering the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe on January 7 at 19pm ET. To receive the pickaxe, the only requirement is that you have to log in at some point during Fortnite Winterfest.
If you didn't participate in the holiday event, you can buy the Crescent Shroom Pickaxe from the item shop later. Epic hasn't announced how many V-bucks it will cost, but my guess would be somewhere between 800 and 1200 V-bucks.
Epic is also hosting a Power Leveling Weekend event from this start date until January 10 at 7am ET. This will make leveling up considerably easier if you're still progressing through the Chapter 3, Season 1 battle pass.
