Fortnite has recently released Fortnite v18.40 Update Patch Notes with various changes and new introductions to the game. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 is at its height, almost at the coast and a new update is already on board to change some games.
This update brought with it a new war effort, the coveted Naruto packs, and much more. We take a look at all the cogs in the new Fortnite v18.40 update and the new features it brings.

Fortnite v18.40 update
Fortnite is a very popular battle royale game published by Epic Games. It probably has one of the biggest fan and player bases in the entire world. They recently released the new Fortnite update which takes a turn in the game around the war effort.
The war effort has two classics on deck to fight the Cubes. On the official blog, it was reported that the Flint-Knock Pistol will go up against the Proximity Grenade Launcher in a vote that will allow players to determine which weapon should not be holstered.
Additionally, two classic vehicles returned to the game, and Naruto Uzumaki and the rest of Team 7 also arrived on the battlefield. BRUTE is ready to be featured in the final war effort vote, which will decide whether it should be reintroduced into Battle Royale.
The highly anticipated Naruto x Fortnite collaboration has finally arrived as part of v18.40. Players can purchase four skins, including Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, and Sakura. His clothes are in the Item Shop, and Team 7 member Kakashi Hatake, in addition to an Outfit, has secretly set himself up as an Island Character.
Players will also be able to find the Paper Bomb Kunai as a new weapon to shoot opponents with. They can find this explosive weapon in Chests or Loot Llamas, or even trade Bars with Kakashi Hatake for some of them.
Shopping carts also returned to the Island. Players can now throw a friend into the basket and get away with this classic “vehicle” found in stores and residential areas like Retail Row and Holly Hedges.
