The GTA series has been the most inspiring when it comes to the open world video game genre. GTA 5 has broken several records and continues to make money for Rockstar Games despite its age. Fans, however, want a change at this point and continue to demand that Rockstar Games release the next chapter in the GTA series. Rockstar itself has remained silent, but that hasn't stopped insiders and leakers from trying to fish out new information about GTA 6. A famous leaker, Tom Henderson, recently revealed some new details. This is the same leaker that leaked genuine information about Call of Duty and Battlefield 2042 weeks before the trailer was even released.

GTA 6 Leaks: new locations, evolving map and more:
There have been a lot of GTA 6 rumors in the past revealing all sorts of different details, however the most common ones we've seen are the location and existence of a female character. For starters, Henderson claims that GTA 6 is still in early development and will take a good 3-4 years before it sees the light of day. In the meantime, GTA 5 will continue to receive updates and DLCs. The expanded and enhanced version of GTA 5 has also not yet been released, which will ensure Rockstar's continuity until the release of GTA 6.
Vice City is believed to be the location of the GTA 6 map (surprise, surprise). This makes the most sense as all maps except Vice City have been remastered for the HD universe. The scenario, however, unlike what we had in the past, is not that of the 80s, but a more modern one. This is believed to give Rockstar more room to add retro and modern environments, vehicles and more. Henderson also revealed that the map is evolving. This means the map will start small and continue to expand over the years through updates and DLCs. This also allows Rockstar to get creative and add whatever they want to the map.
Henderson also revealed some other important details. He confirmed the existence of several protagonists, including a female protagonist. Finally, he revealed that Rockstar will take its time to release GTA 6 and we may have to settle for GTA 5 for a few more years. This is done to avoid the troubling crisis problem of employees spending more time on development, which is not specified in their job description. This had also been a serious issue in the past with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
It is important to note that while these leaks seem credible, they should be treated with caution. Rockstar Games are often very secretive about their data, and typically most of these leaks are unmasked. It is exciting, however, to receive any news about the long-awaited GTA 6.
