Fortnite Plasma Cannon
Season 7 Fortnite weapons are essentially anticlimactic to Season 6's primitive weapons, as the former have a more futuristic feel alongside the alien theme. Many in this section include gathering raw materials to upgrade your in-game weapon. In many cases, players can also combine a weapon and material to make an entirely new weapon.
This new weapon is called the Plasma Cannon and has the description, “Throw a slowly moving ball of energy that hits nearby objects and destroys buildings in its path.” As is obvious, this weapon will be very powerful and effective at taking down opponents' structures, making it a weapon you would definitely want to keep if you found it in the game.
The Plasma Cannon can be crafted in addition to being found on the Island. You can collect from IO Chests as well as normal ones. Since IO used Alien technology to invent it, the weapon can also be crafted by combining a Legendary Pistol with an Alien Nanite. Players will need to get their hands on a legendary pistol and an alien nanite. Then enter the crafting menu and merge them.
A Plasma Cannon can only deploy one Plasma Ball at a time, but you can use multiple Plasma Cannons and fire them so that multiple Plasma Balls are deployed. There are a total of five Plasma Balls that can be fired from a weapon. This weapon can fire plasma balls surrounded by an electrical dome that will trap enemies and deal heavy, repeated damage to them before being boosted back. Vehicles will be affected in the same way.
