Rift Server Fortnite
Fortnite fans are excited about the new Rift Fortnite Modded Server that surfaced online a few months ago and the hype hasn't died amidst the hustle and bustle of Fortnite's new season. There are countless videos online of content creators joining some new Fortnite Private Server on their PCs. The private server was called Rift and is currently available in beta. For those who don't know, it allows fans to access infinite skins, cosmetics, emotes and various other Fortnite items.
The download link is available on the official Rift Discord server which can be found here. Players can join the server through this link provided in the channel also which will initiate the download from the Rift server on the players' computers. The process can take 25 minutes or more, after which players can access the zip file and open it from there. To open the file, they need to download “WinRAR” first, which can be found on Google.
After joining Discord and following the instructions from the # intro channels, players will have the tools they need to set up the event they want. Only available for PC, these tools include:
- A secret key provided when registering with the @Jonsey bot on Discord
- The EasyInstaller.exe file
- An EventUpdate folder containing RiftLauncher.exe and its support files
It should be noted that Fortnite Rift Private Server is independent of Epic Games' servers. This is one of the reasons why you would not find any official news about the mod from the Fortnite developers. Also, it does not allow players to offer items to their own accounts or other accounts as it is a private server. However, the process only works on Windows PC. It is not compatible with game consoles like PlayStation or Xbox Series. It also does not support Nintendo Switch or mobile devices.
