How to use consumables in Fortnite
Consumables are items consumed by players, devices, or weapons. These items can also be used as crafting materials. Crafting materials are items that can be exchanged for usable items or used as a crafting piece for a larger item.
Players can find a wide range of uses for these consumables. Players can learn more about the consumables available in Fortnite Creative and how they can use them. Players can find consumables in the CREATIVE inventory in the CONSUMABLES Tab.
Offer ammo consumables for players to restock weapons during gameplay. These ammo variations can provide bullets, cartridges, rockets, and arrows that projectile weapons consume. When selecting ammo, you must also offer players a corresponding weapon. The ammunition needed for each weapon is indicated by an icon.
You can offer an item pack to players through a chest or llama. Selecting ADD TO CHEST will add the consumable to the CHEST tab. Each time you click ADD TO CHEST, the item count will increase by one, shown in a yellow box on the CHEST tab. On the CHEST tab, you can select CREATE CHEST or CREATE MUD to store the consumables in a chest or a llama for use in the game.
