Fortnitemares 2021
The big Fortnitemares 2021 celebration event has already started on October 5, 2021, and runs until November 1, 2021, lasting almost a full month for players to grab some new stuff like skins and more. Last year's Fortnitemares challenged players to unlock various spooky-themed cosmetics, including the Smash O'-Lantern pickaxe, Bobo Back Bling, and more. The fun event is back this year and players can't wait to get in on the holiday fun.
Epic has already teased that each week will introduce its own special Fortnitemares features, and there will be new Halloween-themed skins in the Item Shop every day. Fortnitemares 2021 introduced the Universal Monsters skin set, starting with Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy later in the month. Throughout the month, cards will reveal legendary monsters making their way into the Fortnite Item Shop, as well as classic Fortnite characters gaining new Halloween touches.
